Cook healthier and save energy.
The iron core conducts energy quickly and retains heat. The surface is anti-bacterial and preserves flavors.
COOK WITH PORCELAIN ENAMEL
Enamel cookware can be used on all hob types (except microwave) and are perfectly suitable for induction hobs thanks to their magnetizable iron core.
Thanks to the iron core, enamel cookware not only heats up very quickly, but also retains heat perfectly. It is therefore a good practice to start the cooking/frying process at medium heat, slowly raise the heat and then lower it again. This prevents the cookware from overheating and burning. The result is healthier cooking that preserves flavors and ingredients.
Tips for Cooking with Enamel
- NEVER heat enameled pans and pots without the contents inside, this can cause the bottom to warp.
- Always choose a hob with the optimal diameter – never use a hob that is too small.
- Always heat the cookware gradually. Start at medium (not the highest heat or the boost function on induction hobs) and then increase the heat.
- Turn off the hob 5-10 minutes before you reach the end of the cooking time so that you can use the remaining heat to gently finish cooking.
- NEVER leave the frying process unattended. The oil may catch fire, the pan may overheat and the food may burn. It may pose a danger to children.
- The maximum recommended operating temperature is 220 °C. This preserves valuable nutrients and flavors.
- Always cook with a lid. Rattling lids indicate that the heat can be reduced. As a result, you can also save valuable energy.
- Turn off the hob 5-10 minutes before reaching the end of the cooking time, so you can use the residual heat to gently finish cooking.
- All enameled products heat up quickly on the hob and in the oven. Therefore, please use a dry pot handle.
- Never leave cooking unattended to avoid burning, grease fire and overheating.
- Please note: Excessive browning of food, especially starch-containing products (during baking, frying or roasting – e.g. chips – French fries) can be harmful to health due to the formation of acrylamide.
